What are the ways to grow basil at home?
The best time to start planting basil is in the spring (March and April). In extinguishing the good smells in the place, it is also used as a medicinal herb that is useful in treating some diseases.
1- Prepare small planting pots or pots and fill them with soil (an equal mixture of perlite, vermiculite, peat), then gently press on the soil until you get rid of air pockets, then moisten the agricultural environment.
2- Put in each pot one or two seeds or more the size of the pot and cover it with a tightly closed plastic bag around it so that the bag keeps it a degree of humidity and temperature suitable for germination, and put it in a sunny place, uncover the bag twice a day and moisten the soil.
3- When sprouts begin to emerge from the soil and this process will take about a week, remove the bag and keep the soil moist continuously from two to three during the day.
4- When the plant begins to grow and reaches a length of 10 or 15 cm, it is transferred to a larger pot so that each seedling has a pot, provided that irrigation is carried out twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, and the irrigation is only moistening the soil. Leaves
